Could Apple’s new tablet computer change our lives?

It’s getting closer, but what will it be like and will it catch on? The already much hyped apple tablet computer could change the way we work and consume information. In the same way the i-pod changed the music industry, I believe a device like this could really catch on and change the media industry forever. · Will anyone buy a newspaper or magazine if you have a tablet computer which you can access online content. How will newspaper and magazine publishers react? · What will happen to the traditional book publishing industry? Surely no one will buy a device such as specific as an e-reader? If you had access to millions of books online, would you buy a printed copy? How would you purchase reference or non-fiction material such as manuals or guides? · TV and film on the move will become a reality, whether video streaming from the likes of YouTube or download movies. · This may also mean we won’t have to rely on our phones being able to do everything and we can have simple small sleek phones that just are phones!
